Britta Wandaogo was born in 1965 in Unna, Germany.
She studied communication design and photojournalism at the
University of Wuppertal from 1990 till 1995. In 1998 she postgraduated
in documentary films at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.

In her documentary films Britta is dealing with subjects that she finds in
her very close environment. This automaticially includes a very personal
and strong involvement on the filmmakers part. It is that certain privacy
that at the same time is never getting too close which gives the observer
a unique insight into the protagonists lifes and makes Britta Wandaogos
films a memorable expierience.
