Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO)
is the largest African film festival.The next edition will be held from
24th February to 3rd March 2001.
The first African International Film and Television Market (MICA) was organized in 1983, as part of FESPACO's program. Sixteen years of experience made Mica the most important international TVmarket in Africa.

FESPACO News is a daily paper distributed throughout the festival
targeted towards professionals covering this unique week of
cinematography. FESPACO Newsletter is a quarterly information bulletin
concerning the permanent office of FESPACO as well as African cinema
in general. The Chief editor is Lucie A. Kéré The official Catalogue provides
detailed information on the new productions participating in the festival from
the African continent as well as the diaspora. Readership contributions are
welcomed by all three publications.
